28. Yes, the show is going off air and will be back soon after three
months. The show that went on air in 1998 and has clocked more than
1,540 episodes and reportedly, will air its last episode on October 27.
The channel will soon gear up for the renewed version of CID to bring
new thrilling experience for the viewers. The audience is surely going
to miss ACP Pradyuman and Daya, the main leads of the show.
“Having
completed 20 years, ‘C.I.D.’ is the longest running cult show on Sony
Entertainment Television. It has been a great journey so far, along with
Fireworks Productions, and ‘C.I.D.’ will now take an intermittent break
starting October 28,” a statement from the Sony Entertainment Channel
said. Well, the news of CID going on a break has left viewers
disappointed. The longest-running show for over 21 years is taking a
break and fans can't keep calm. Emotional fans have been protesting on
Twitter to save the show.
